There were excavations of an orangery at both Mount Clare (the Carrol House) in Baltimore and the Calvert House in Annapolis. Also, the orangery at Wye House on Maryland's Eastern Shore is still extant. Pictures can be seen in the HABS images on the Library of Congress web site.

Drayton Hall in Charleston, SC (property of the National Trust for Historic 
Preservation) has the site of a known orangerie that I believe was excavated 
by Lynn Lewis several years ago. The property should have a report on-site 
they would be willing to share.
