In the late 1980's, the NPS did extensive excavations of the DL&W yard and
roundhouse at Steamtown, in Scranton, PA.  You should contct Mr. Jed Levin
at the NPS in Philadelphia who worked on that project. I am sure he could
provide a lot of information and advise.
