Jenny Lind (1820-1887) Swedish soprano (Swedish Nightingale) toured the
United States 1850 - 1852 through the efforts of P.T. Barnum.  I don't know
about plates, but Fostoria produced a bunch of stuff in the early 1960s with
the image of Jenny Lind on them.

Does anyone know who Jenny Lind was? The name rings loud bells but....
A very mid-Victorian type portrait (black transferware) with the name
(Jen)ny Lind printed over it.
