Our local cemetery has 3 visible graves with headstone and at least 11
known graves that are now lost. (Graveyard in use from 1880s until 1927). I
have found a paper on the use of a proton precession magnetometer for
magnetic mapping of graves (Stanley,J.M. & Connah,G. 1977) but wondered if
there is any more recent technology for use on a sloping site, in tertiary
sand with little or no rock present?Elizabeth Landy
