I was wondering if any of you might have information (or have worked) on
Irish immigrant sites dating from the Famine or immediately post-Famine
(1845-1850s). I am primarily interested in sites connected with the
poorest immigrants--those who would have been landless laborers or
smallholders in Ireland. I am involved in Famine-era excavations in
Ireland and would like to compare collections with Irish immigrant
sites.

***I am already familiar with the work of Charles Orser (I am part of
his research team), so please do not forward this message to him or
suggest that I contact him for information!!!***

Thank you,
