What are they called in contemporary catalogues? Or even manufacturers'
manuals?

Hello folks! As we are pulled, kicking and screaming, into the excavation of
20th century sites, we find ourselves confused by the ceramics. What do we
call them? Is there a definitive source for ware type and decoration
identification?
