RE: American Revolutionary War burials
Thanks for the responses on references to Revolutionary War
burials. I recently was involved in the excavation of two
burials from Bethlehem, PA. These were near a field hospital and
on a hill that local historical accounts indicated was where 500
soldiers from the hospital were buried. The only artifacts

associated with the skeletons were a bone button and hand wrought
coffin nails. I'm trying to compare these to other Revolutionary
(sorry, American Revolutionary) War burials. Any additional
information would be appreciated.
