        You might check with the Society for Industrial Archaeology.  We
recently contacted them about old steam engines and found them to be very
helpful.  They have a web page, or try Patrick Martin via email at
[log in to unmask]  He's editor of their publications and can probably refer
you to people who are knowledgable about the subject of gas lighting
equipment.  They also publish queries in their newsletters.
