I recently joined this list after a few unsuccessful attempts and I
have a question for you all.
What do you think are the most compelling results (or compelling
projects, preferably with published results) of historical
archaeology? I don't mean methodological or theoretical inventions
but substantive contributions that might be of real interest to
non-archaeologists (historians, land managers, planners, bankers,
construction workers, etc).
Thanks,
Barbara Little
