Regarding Jenny Lind, I would add to the earlier comments that she was much
admired in the mid-19th century throughout the world and was known as "The
Swedish Nightingale". Because of her great popularity, her name was much
used in advertizing. Her name and even her image were embossed on several
bottles of the period.
