That's right, you're in Theakston's Old Peculier territory in York.

Mine has definitely gone down, in large measure due to the lack of
British beer on this side of the pond. Bottled and canned stuff isn't
quite the same as a pulled pint. My tastes never ran to bitter, but to
mild. The legendary publican generally acknowledged in CAMRA circles as
the rudest in Britain ran the Elephant and Castle in P'boro which was a
Ruddles house. Theirs and Brains in Cardiff were two of the finest I
had run across. Yuengling on this side does a really good porter and
it's the oldest in the USA (1828 and lets not hear laughter from the
other side at that age;>)).
