The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking
 a qualified individual to fill the position of archaeology assistant.
This position is responsible for assisting in or supervising
scientific archaeological studies to identify, evaluate, or mitigate
impacts to archaeological resources encountered within
proposed transportation projects.  This position also conducts
analysis, basic research, and prepares or assists in the preparation
of technical reports.  A bachelor's degree from an accredited college
or university in anthropology, archaeology, or related field; knowledge
of scientific archaeological research; and two years experience in
archaeological research is required.  Experience in
North America or the Midwest is preferred.  Work requires
regular, statewide, overnight travel.  Please submit resume
