        Thanks. I know of the SCA and had some contact with the
roadsideamerica page. I was hoping that people might know of examples
in their region (or experience) which were truly "folk" in nature.
It is a real typology problem - what is public-commerical and what
is idiosyncratic to start with. The Watts Towers, I think, are different
from the standard commerical-business devices that are fairly common.
But they do also blend together.
