Try the "Audel's Guides to the Building Trades" series. For volumes each
on carpentry, masonry, metalwork and maybe others. My set is copyrighted
in 1923 by Theo. Audel & Co. NY.
Probably out of print but likely available in used bookstores.
They're a "... practical series of educators on the various branches of
Modern Building Construction and are dedicated to Master Builders and
their Associates".
They'e very thorough and detailed.
