Folks:

After a brief break the MUA is ramping up new projects and posts for the
coming summer months. We’ll start off with a few announcements.

1) The MUA is proud to support the Inaugural Asia-Pacific Regional
Conference on Underwater Cultural Heritage and has posted information on
their second call for papers on the Underwater Blogger portion of the
website here: http://muablog.wordpress.com/

2) The MSc Maritime Archaeology Program at Bournemouth University has
added a program description page to the Educational Resources section of
the MUA. It is an excellent resource for prospective students. You can
view the page by clicking on the link on the MUA home page here:
http://www.themua.org

Other institutions that have not done so are encouraged to add similar
pages to their profiles on the MUA. Contact [log in to unmask] for more
information.

3) The folks at ADMAT have added field school information to the MUA’s
field school information blog here:
http://muablog.wordpress.com/category/field-schools/

4) The MUA is seeking contributions from maritime historians wishing to
introduce their research to the general public in much the same way that
over 80 underwater archaeologists have on the MUA over the past few years.
Share your work with thousands of readers in over 90 countries world wide.

5) As always the MUA is looking for volunteers wishing to work on the
website either as regional or general content editors, education programs,
funding, or site maintenance. Join us as the MUA continues to grow.

Best regards,

T. Kurt Knoerl
