I apologize for the message to Mike Polk that just went out accidently to
the entire HISTARCH list. Do not hold it against Mike. If the Elections
and Nomiantions Committee for 2000 in its wisdom decides to nominate Mike
to run for the SHA Board do not hold it against him that:

        (1) he lives in Utah,
        (2) he works in CRM,
        (3) he probably has 23 wives
        (4) he organized an outstanding SHA Annual Meeting for
1999 in SLC and did not have to call out the
Danites to control those of you who attended.

He would be worth considering for the Board AND his 23 wives could then
all be SHA volunteers. To be fair, I do not know if Mike will be nominated
nor who else might be running; however, if the Elections Committee decides
to run Mel Thurman for the Board I will definately vote for Mike.
