Dear Histarchers,
 
I would like to thank Lester Ross for the bibliography and descriptions in
some of those books - it takes time to write an account like that - also
for other material (now acknowledged in the revised pages). It's good to
know that despite being scattered all over the globe we can still be of
benefit to each other in Histarch. Thanks also to David R Jeane for
clearing up the 'GEM' mystery and looking in to others, Chris Murphy for
the encouraging words and Karlis Karklins, Jeannine Kreinbrinck and others
re tracking down those publications.
 
Glad to know there is plenty of interest in ceramics 'out there' and feel
more encouraged to continue the series after my next season on Norfolk
Island. I  added the bowls and misc., yesterday.
