 I am unsure of what exactly this conference is trying to get at. Does it mean
famous women doing historic preservation? Well-preserved women? The role of
women in historic preservation? Jann, if you are out there, could you please
respond?

                          CALL FOR PAPERS
 
The Women's Studies Program and Graduate Program in Public History at
Arizona State University and the National Park Service invite submissions
for paper presentations, workshops, panels, and other media of expression
to be considered for the Second National Women in Historic Preservation
Conference to be held in Tempe, May 15-18, 1996.  The deadline for
proposals is October 1, 1995.  Please send a one-page description and a
short vita to Mary Logan Rothschild or Jann Warren-Findley at Arizona
State University, History Department, Box 872501, Tempe, AZ 85287-2501.
