Cathy - Bill Lockhart in New Mexico recently mentioned that he is doing a lot
of research on this very topic and has some detailed information about the
situation.  If his information is correct, it sounds much more complicated than
we have ever been led to believe concerning dates of manganese use and
discontinuing of use and glass clearing agents in general.

Contact him concerning this - are you there Bill?  I think everyone would
like to hear about what he has uncovered, if he is at a place where information
can be diseminated.
