Remotely Operated Vehicle. Or Remote Operated Vehicele, depending on who's
ever modd that day of the week. The easiest way to explain it is it's a
robot controlled by someone that is used to take photographs, scan the
seabed, retrive artifacts etc from depths where divers cannot go. The
pictures you see of Titanic, Derbyshire, etc are from ROVs (for the most
part).
