Dear SHA members. This is an alert that the registration form for the
SHA/ACUA preconference workshops will soon arrive in your mail, from the
SHA business office, not in the main conference preregistration packet
(which was mailed to you on Sept. 30th). [Secure on-line registration for
the Long Beach conference is available at
<http://www.innovo.net/clients/sha/>. You can register for the
preconference workshops, which are all on Wednesday, January 10th, 2001,
via the SHA's secure server at <https://SHAonline.org/wsreg01.htm> or click
on SHA On-Line Services from
the main SHA web page, <www.sha.org> and you will see the workshops
registration option.]

Workshop topics this year are archaeological illustration, GIS in
archaeology, forensic bioarchaeology, remote operated vehicles for
underwater archaeology, cultural tourism, and archaeological contracting.
Full descriptions, times, and prices are on the registration form. Thank
you; please let us know if you have questions. Kim and Stephen McBride,
Continuing Education Coordinators
