The Texas Historical Commission has re-opened applications for a position to head their new historic parks division, created by recent legislation. 

The position pays pretty well ($85,000 - $110,000) and here's a description of the position:

Serves as Division Director responsible for the historic sites of the Texas Historical Commission. The Division Director coordinates and develops policies, standards, and programs pertaining to the preservation, stewardship, development, use, and management of historic sites. Also responsible for establishing goals and objectives; developing guidelines, procedures, rules, and regulations; developing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals; coordinating and evaluating program activities; and developing and evaluating budget requests.  Provides leadership and strategic vision to the team assigned to this division with a view toward the highest level of visitor experience possible.
