Has anyone ever found a Dracontomelon seed at a site?  The Boise NF in partnership with the Idaho City Historical Foundation conducted excavations inside the Pon Yam Store in Idaho City, Idaho in 1998.  The floorboards were removed for foundation work and this provided an opportunity to see what had fallen through the cracks.  Preservation was fantastic.  Over 100 Chinese olive seeds, a Batnut, and these odd looking Dracontomelon seeds.  The Boise NF botanist was at the Smithsonian and there happened to be someone there that had been at Kew Gardens.  That person identified these seeds.     Thanks.
