Last Month there was a vibrant discussion on portable WWII buildings, with
considerable information on Nissen, Quonset and other prefabricated types. I
am interseted in another form, Bellman Hangars, an all steel clear-span
building using modular components whcih breakdown into sections small enough
to put on trucks, including sectional staunchens, girders, wall panels and
sliding door sections. They are apparently a British design, manufactured by
Lysaght in Newcstle (New South Wales)
any one have something more to add about these, particularly how many may
survive.
