Dear list members:
        In Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, we found a stratified deposit that
consisted almost exclusively of glass.  There were more glass fragments
than soil in there.  One of the problems we are facing is finding an
appropriate way of describing the color of the glass.   There are many
different variations, like for example 12 shades of green.  Is there a
color chart appropriate for the description of glass' color?
 
        Any advice will be really appreciated.

Hola:
        En un sitio histórico en la ciudad de Río Piedras, Puerto Rico,
encontramos un depósito estratificado que consistió casi exclusivamente en
vidrio.  La cantidad de fragmentos de vidrio era mucho mayor a la cantidad
de suelo en la unidad de excavación.  Uno de los problemas que estamos
enfrentando a la hora de catalogar el vidrio es la descripción del color.
Hay más de 12 tonos distintos de verde y otros tanto de azul.   ?Hay alguna
tabla de color adecuada para describir el color del vidrio?
        Cualquier comentario será de mucha ayuda.
