I have followed the thread on the graduate programs in the South.  I find it
curious that some do not consider MA degreed people to be "professionals".  I
consider anyone with a graduate degree in a field and practicing their trade
to be a professional in that field.  One does not need a PhD to be "blessed"
to be called a professional.
