I’d add professional “confined space” training and possibly some form of
external air supply.

 

I’d don’t know what the occupational health and safety situation is in your
part of the USA but in Australia I think there would be some issues with
your plan. This aspect has been gone through a number of times on this forum
and there is probably lots of good advice if you search the Histarch
archives.
