It's damned well about time! Archaeology has been ignored by the Ig Noble
committee for too long! We've only won 3 of the coveted awards!

Archaeology Prize: Brian Crandall (US) and Peter Stahl (Canada/US), for
observing how the bones of a swallowed dead shrew dissolves inside the human
digestive system.
