The Heye Museum of New York has become the centerpiece for the new Museum of
the American Indian. I know that Jack Williams flew to New York to visit the
collection for materials related to Spanish Colonial communities. Most people
dont travel that far for collections research, but it has been known to happen
when an institution funds that kind of research.
