The book was "An Archaeological Perspective" (1972) published by Academic
Press I think.  In it was a chapter titled something to the effect of
"Culture as Behavior" or something like that.  This chaper was either a
reprint of an earlier 1965 article by the same name or heavily based on that
article.  I'm sorry, but I am too lazy to go dig both the article and book
out of my storage room.
