Greetings HISTARCHers,

I have found the septic tank for the gunnery range at Ebert's Field, a WW I aerial reconnaisance training facility. The diminsions are 1.5 meters by 1.3 meters with a ca. 60 cm access hole in the top. From the top to fill inside is 1.1 meters. A shovel pushed into the fill went down another 19 cm. Passing a metal detector along the walls indicated that it is constructed of reinforced concrete. Does anyone know how deep these septic tanks were?

Also, I have photos if anyone would like to contact me off list.

Thanks,

William E. McAlexander Jr.
