Subject: SHA 2013 Call for Papers - final reminder!

With the usual apologies for cross-posting (and particular apologies to those of you who've already made a submission)... This is a reminder that the Call for Papers for the SHA conference at the University of Leicester between 9th and 12th January 2013 will be closing at the end of Tuesday the 10th of July - less than five days remain to submit symposia, panels, and/or papers. Members of the Conference Program Committee will be checking the conference submission site and conference e-mail address regularly over the weekend to help ensure that submissions run as smoothly as possible over these last few days of the submission period. The conference theme is 'globalization, immigration, transformation'. The full Call for Papers (including information on paper and symposium submission) is available to download at: http://www.sha.org/documents/meetings/2013/CallForPapers2013.pdf and proposals for symposia, papers, etc can be submitted via this link: https://www.conftool.com/sha2
013/ The deadline for submission is 10th July 2012. Information about the conference may also be found at the official conference website: http://www.sha.org/meetings/annual_meetings.cfm The SHA and the local conference organising committee here in Leicester are making full use of social media in the run up to, and during, the conference in January 2013. As well as the conference website, you will be able to follow the latest news on the SHA blog: http://www.sha.org/blog Twitter: https://twitter.com/SHA_org (#SHA2013) and Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/SocietyforHistoricalArchaeology especially the conference event page: http://facebook.com/events/317346474993090 Yours, Alasdair Brooks 2013 SHA Conference Program Chair
