Perhaps I am alone here, but this spam was totally inappropriate.
Putting aside my personal feelings on the matter, Ron has no place to
use this list for political petitioning.

On a personal note, I look forward to working with Scouts on their
archaeology merit badges as soon as they drop this stupid exclusionary
policy.  A discussion of this aspect of the political-social discourse
would be appropriate on the list.
