Hello All,
I was lucky enough to see "God's Gonna Trouble the Water," PBS's
documentary of the Gullah people of the costal islands of South Carolina and
Georgia. I was wondering if anyone has heard of any recent archaeology going
on in that area related to Gullah history and culture. I belive some of
Fairbanks' early works were in the costal area of Georgia, but I'm not sure if
his work delt with the above subject specifically. If anyone has any info on
the subject I'd be glad to hear it.
Thanks so Much
Floyd A. Jones
