Well, Mary Ellin's suspicions are confirmed! If you visit the WWW site,
you'll find that "Cubits" are converted only into US-English inches and that
only 11 variations of the Cubit are given (Egypt 2650 BC, Babylon 1500 BC,
Assyrian 700 BC, Jerusalem 1 AD, Druid-Eng. 1 AD, "Black," Arabia 800 AD,
"Mexico-Aztec," "Ancient China," "Ancient Greece," England, and "Nortern
3000 BC to 1800 AD.") And when it comes to Furlongs, all conversions are
given as if there is only ONE STANDARD furlong -- Its equivalence in
Centimeters, Chains(Gunters), Chains (Ramdens), Feet, Meters, Miles (Naut.
Int'l), Miles (Statute), Rods, and Yards.

So, it probably is not worth visiting this web site --;) --;) --;)
