I do not have the book with me, but I have photocopies of some illustrations
and the list of  figures, but it may be useful.  Check out -
 
Andre, George F.
  1878  "A Descriptive Treatise on Mining Machinery, Tools and Other

Spon.
 
A Lefell  engine is illustrated frm various perspectives in Figures 588-593
and a Parker Pump is indicated as being shown in Figs 564-576.  There may
also be written descriptions in book, but I do not have them.  Other mining
texts from that period may also be useful.
