I found that if you remove the "experts" directory after installing Paradox
will allow you to integrate and work back and forth more peacefully with
other programs such as Excel and Access.  It has a number of built in
blocks that prevent you from using it with competative programs and they
seem to be buried within the tutorials.  I got this info from one of their
help people after being on the phone for three hours.  I gave up on the
beast after who knows how many days of trying to get it to do simple things
= HUGE learning curve and other programs do the same things so much more
effeciently.
