For those outside of Virginia the following link takes you to a "photo
album" of the recent mass destruction of a Civil War archaeological site in
Virginia.  Dubbed "Diggin' in Virginia" there are currently two more of
these "hunts" planned on other sites.  The Virginia archaeological community
is working to address the issue, apparently the latest trend in high dollar
relic hunting.
