Hi All!
Is there anyone on this list who has an in depth knowledge of ancient
Egyptian fayience? I am working on a piece of fayience that had a cartouche
"erased", and I would like to know if there is any non-destructive process
that might enable me to find a latent image of what had been erased.
The item is a fragment of an uaz, probably 6 to 8 inches long, when
intact. It dates to the reign of Amenhotep III.
     Thanks.
