How appropriate is it for us to call this type of flat glass "window
glass"?  I  ask because this is an ongoing thread and I just had the glass
on a large picture break all over my hall floor--cleaning it up reminded me
how problematic that label "window" is.  Or do "functional" labels not
really matter?
