      Re: Japanese porcelain marked with "Made in Japan" dates after 1921.
 
     While the law may have come into being in 1921, some Japanese
     manufacturers were already using "Japan" and "Made in Japan" on their
     ceramic products by around 1900.  This information appears in several
     publications and was even mentioned on one of the "Antiques Roadshow"
     programs on TV, a well-known source of accurate information!
