The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified individual to
fill the position of architectural historian in our Jefferson City office.
Requires master's degree from an accredited college or university in
architectural history, art history, historic preservation, or a closely related
field, with course work in American architectural history, including detailed
investigations of historic structures, preparation of historic structures
research reports, and preferably preparation of plans and specifications for
preservation projects.  Two years experience with an academic institution,
historical organization or agency in research, writing, interpretation, or
other demonstrable professional activity in American architectural history is
necessary.  Work requires occasional statewide overnight travel.  Salary:
$35,796 - $47,196, depending upon experience.  EEO/AA.  Please submit resume
