Thanks for those who posted info on how to get a copy of this book.
Dittersdorf's autobiography is quoted extensively in H.C. Robbins Landon's
works on Haydn and Mozart.  The quotes I have seen used seem chock full of
information.  I relished the discussion that Joseph II had with Dittersdorf
concerning the nature of Mozart's and Haydn's music.  Haydn wasn't too well
liked by the Habsburgs, and this encounter used in the autobiography gives
some indication why.

BTW the symphonies of Dittersdorf are very elegant and Mozart thought very
highly of them. No mean critic himself.
