In volume 6 of the Complete Beethoven Edition (DG 453 733 2, a set of 8
disks containing all piano works other than the sonatas) the works for
4 hands are played by Jorg Demus and Norman Shetler.  The same set has
recommendable performances of many more lesser known piano works by
Pletnev, Gilels, Cascioli, Mustonen, Kempff, as well as the less
recommendable Diabelli variations by Barenboim.
