There is no such animal.  There are perhaps 12 who share that honor...
and that occasionally rises to 24.  There are always a few orchesters
who do better on certain composers, and certain conductors who help them
sound better on certain works.

Historically, we have had some great performances out of the Berlin
Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, The Boston Symphony, the Utah
Symphony under Abravanel, New York PHilharmonic...  and so on...

Why not ask for great performances?
