I have much skepticism concerning ARG reviews of period instrument
recordings. The Editor makes no apologies for a clear distaste for
everythig concerning HIP performances, and he often hands off reviews
of these recordings to reviewers who have a predisposition against HIP
recordings. This Vroon policy is in no way responsive to *my* needs.
The value of having anit-HIP folks reviewing HIP recordings totally
escapes me as it would any reasonable person.
