I was pleased to see Steve Schwartz's review of the Lilburn symphonies
and enthusiastically endorse his liking for them.  Most listers would,
like Steve, not have visited the country, but there are any number of
websites with shots of its wonderful scenery, which will show why the
similarities between some of Liburn's music and Sibelius is appropriate
- try Google's images.

One small comment: Steve could not have been expected to know that, in
my experience, the term "colonial boy" is now regarded by most New
Zealanders and, for that matter, Australians, as a pejorative.
