Yes, one of the snags that I often have in broaching CM to those unfamiliar
with it is that they cower before "all that stuff that [they'll] never
understand," and hence turn away from the rest.  Also, those "beginner's"
works are not things that those of us "advanced" listeners grow out
of--they're still wonderful in spite of the overexposure they receive.
