this morning, rather than last night, I would have said

but* I insist in calling Jason Plourde, a baritone singing a baritone
role in "Les Mamelles," an <<archetypical "French tenor">>, yes I do.
One way to settle that is for Plourde to re-register as a tenor and for
somebody take up the issue with M.  Poulenc in the Upper Regions...:)
