Ah, my mistake, sorry.  I knew that they were quite different but
forgot which way the comparison went.

Yes, and I followed it while listening to the Ogdon recording.

I can understand the performer fudging those parts of the piece, but I'm
talking about mistakes all the way through.  (I also realize that the score
has a lot of typos, but I can't imagine that that accounts for all the
discrepancies.)
